Lola 'helping' me clean the pond filter. Normally she runs away from the hose, but today she was enjoying sticking her nose right in it!
Sorry about the crappy phone video, and it's sideways!

Up until today Lola hasn't had much interest in playing frisbee. For some reason, she was in love with this beat up old raggedy blue one. It was so funny to watch her run up the hill, tilting her head just enough to not trip herself.

Lola wants that ball so badly, and Bentley isn't about to let her have it!

Lola & Huckleberry at the dog park.
This week has been all about the park. We went pretty much right after she got her stitches out and have been every day since. The weather was perfect...breezy and not too humid.
Huck is one of my favorite dogs. He's also a puppy-not even a year old. So sweet natured.

On our way to the dog park...drive faster, Mom!

Awesome day for Lola today! The stitches came out and she was oked to go to the park, which is a good thing because she has been driving us nuts with all of her pent up energy. Tons of pals at the park tonight, all of whom needed to check out her belly. She was a good sport and let them, and then stole balls and wrestled with all her might.

funny face :)

Lo hates it when we 'steal her identity' i.e. mess with her dogtags. She's up to three now, and is quite jingly!

Playing tug with Evan. For a 10 pound puppy, she is really strong!

Reluctantly sharing the ottoman with Ben.

This would be so much funnier with sound! Lola is begging Ben to play with her in her puppyspeak, and Ben is about to pop her one. Buddy is right next to me, barking his head off.

Big girl sleeping in her crate...the pen is gone! She will sit in here if everyone is busy and there are no laps to be had.

Nothing Lola enjoys better than a yard full of sun and nowhere to be!

What a difference a day makes! 24 hours later and she greeted me this morning wagging her tail and licking my face. She wolfed down a third of a can of moist food (a yummy treat!) but stopping her from jumping has been a lot harder. I am still carrying her outside to potty, but twice she has jumped on my bed and she even ran down the basement stairs.
I think Jacks do not know the rules apply to them!

Fix up Lola day. It was a little rough for all of us...Emma couldn't stop crying before the surgery. She was spayed, a microchip implanted, and she had a funky tooth removed (one of her front adult teeth either came in super crooked or she wrecked it playing tug when it was new) All day she was very out of it, shaking and wimpering. No eating or drinking. Emma cried for another hour after we picked her up- the wimpering was getting to her. Now to keep her calm for the next 2 weeks!

Next thing I know, she'll be wanting to water ski!
